NIPPONKOA INSURANCE COMPANY, LIMITED
ASSUMPTION REINSURANCE AGREEMENT
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 587.1 of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada), that NIPPONKOA Insurance Company, Limited (“NIPPONKOA”) intends to make an application to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (Canada), on or after May 28, 2014, for approval to cause itself to be reinsured, on an assumption basis, against all risks undertaken in respect of its policies in Canada, by Sompo Japan Insurance Inc., Canada Branch.
A copy of the proposed assumption reinsurance agreement will be available for inspection by the policyholders of NIPPONKOA at the Canadian chief agency of NIPPONKOA, located at 20 Queen Street West, Suite 300, Toronto, Ontario M5H 3R3 during regular business hours for a period of 30 days following publication of this notice.
A copy of the proposed assumption reinsurance agreement will be provided to a policyholder upon written request.
