Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) ^{footnote a} of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act ^{footnote b}, transfers from the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, to the Minister of State to assist the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, the powers, duties and functions of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development under the following Acts:
