PUBLIC SERVICE REARRANGEMENT AND TRANSFER OF DUTIES ACT

Order Transferring to the Minister of Canadian Heritage the Powers, Duties and Functions of Minister of Industry

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) (see footnote a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act (see footnote b),

(a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 1999-1090 of June 10, 1999 (see footnote c); and

(b) transfers to the Minister of Canadian Heritage the powers, duties and functions of the Minister of Industry under Parts II to VI, except for Part IV.1, of the Investment Canada Act relating to business activities prescribed by the Governor in Council under paragraph 15(a) of that Act.
