Order Amending Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act and Amending the Order Amending Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 3(1)(a) (see footnote a) and subsection 3(1.3) (see footnote b) of the Financial Administration Act (see footnote c), hereby makes the annexed Order Amending Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act and Amending the Order Amending Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act.

ORDER AMENDING SCHEDULE I.1 TO THE FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION ACT AND AMENDING THE ORDER AMENDING SCHEDULE I.1 TO THE FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION ACT

FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION ACT

1. Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act (see footnote 1) is amended by deleting the following:

Column I Division or Branch of the federal public administration	Column II Appropriate Minister
Indian Residential Schools Truth and Reconciliation Commission Secretariat Secrétariat de la Commission de vérité et de réconciliation relative aux pensionnats indiens	Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development

2. Schedule I.1 to the Act is amended by adding the following in alphabetical order:

Column I Division or Branch of the federal public administration	Column II Appropriate Minister
Indian Residential Schools Truth and Reconciliation Commission Commission de vérité et de réconciliation relative aux pensionnats indiens	Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development

3. Schedule I.1 to the Act is amended by deleting the following:

Column I Division or Branch of the federal public administration	Column II Appropriate Minister
Indian Residential Schools Truth and Reconciliation Commission Commission de vérité et de réconciliation relative aux pensionnats indiens	Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development

ORDER AMENDING SCHEDULE I.1 TO THE FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION ACT

4. (1) Section 2 of the Order Amending Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act (see footnote 2) is repealed.

(2) Subsection 3(2) of the Order is repealed.

COMING INTO FORCE

5. (1) Sections 1, 2 and 4 come into force on July 1, 2009.

(2) Section 3 comes into force on July 1, 2014.
