Order Amending the Privacy Act Heads of Government Institutions Designation Order and Amending the Order Amending the Privacy Act Heads of Government Institutions Designation Order

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 3.1(2) (see footnote a) of the Privacy Act (see footnote b), hereby makes the annexed Order Amending the Privacy Act Heads of Government Institutions Designation Order and Amending the Order Amending the Privacy Act Heads of Government Institutions Designation Order.

ORDER AMENDING THE PRIVACY ACT HEADS OF GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS DESIGNATION ORDER AND AMENDING THE ORDER AMENDING THE PRIVACY ACT HEADS OF GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS DESIGNATION ORDER

PRIVACY ACT HEADS OF GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS DESIGNATION ORDER

1. The schedule to the Privacy Act Heads of Government Institutions Designation Order (see footnote 1) is amended by adding the following in numerical order:

2. Section 52.01 of the schedule to the Order is repealed.

3. Item 108.02 of the schedule to the Order is repealed.

ORDER AMENDING THE PRIVACY ACT HEADS OF GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS DESIGNATION ORDER

4. (1) Section 2 of the Order Amending the Privacy Act Heads of Government Institutions Designation Order (see footnote 2) is repealed.

(2) Subsection 3(2) of the Order is repealed.

COMING INTO FORCE

5. (1) Sections 1, 3 and 4 come into force on July 1, 2009.

(2) Section 2 comes into force on July 1, 2014.
