Under section 9 of the said Act, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours Branch, has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and at the Town of Bauline Municipal Office, Newfoundland and Labrador, in the federal electoral district of Avalon, under deposit No. BWA 8200-08-1279, a description of the site and plans for the proposed construction of a finger pier wharf and timber wall structure measuring approximately 24.4 m long by 6.1 m wide and a 40-m rubble-mound breakwater, to be located in the waters of the community of Bauline, Newfoundland and Labrador, at coordinates 47°43′20″ N and 52°50′05″ W.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Superintendent, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, P.O. Box 1300, St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador A1C 6H8. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of this notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.
