Calendar, 2021 to 2022

Part I – Publication and deadline information

Your notice is due by 12 noon eastern time of the deadline date.

The deadline dates listed below are for notices of 6 pages or fewer.

Important

If your notice is 7 pages or more, please call the revisors of Part I at 613-996-1268 in advance to make special arrangements. Due to the situation related to COVID-19, it is suggested that you contact Natalie Ouimet by email at natalie.ouimet@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.

Although the publication date is each Saturday, the Canada Gazette is available online one day earlier at 2 pm eastern time.

Part II – Publication dates

Although the Canada Gazette Directorate is responsible for producing and publishing Part II, the Privy Council Office determines the content that is published.

Getting regulations published

If a regulation that needs Governor in Council (GIC) approval is required to implement an initiative, the necessary GIC submission must be prepared in accordance with the Archived - Guide to the Federal Regulatory Development Process (for regulations) (page available on Government of Canada network only) and with the Process Guide for Governor in Council Submissions (Other than Regulations) (for most Orders in council). This is done on the advice of the Secretariat Regulatory Affairs analyst assigned to the organization.

Signed GIC submissions must be received by noon of the submission deadline and are to be sent by hand directly to:

Publication dates for Part II, 2021 to 2022

Part II is published every other Wednesday and is available on the Canada Gazette website at 9 am on the day of its publication.

Part III – Publication information

Part III, which contains public Acts of Parliament, is published as soon as is reasonably practicable after royal assent is given. The Department of Justice determines its publication date.
