Regulations Amending the Ships' Stores Regulations

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness and the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to paragraphs 99(g) (see footnote a) and (g.1) (see footnote b) of the Customs Tariff (see footnote c), subsection 59(3.2) (see footnote d) of the Excise Tax Act and paragraphs 304(1)(g) and (h) and (2)(a) of the Excise Act, 2001 (see footnote e), hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Ships' Stores Regulations.

REGULATIONS AMENDING THE SHIPS' STORES REGULATIONS

AMENDMENTS

1. Note 4 of the schedule to the Ships' Stores Regulations (see footnote 1) is replaced by the following:

4       Limited to 1.14 L (40 fluid ounces) of spirits, or 1.14 L (40 fluid ounces) of wine and spirits, or 1.5 L (52 fluid ounces) of wine for each person on board, for each week of a voyage when the voyage lasts for a minimum of seven days 

2. Note 9 of the schedule to the Regulations is replaced by the following:

9       Limited to 1.14 L (40 fluid ounces) of spirits, or 1.14 L (40 fluid ounces) of wine and spirits, or 1.5 L (52 fluid ounces) of wine for each person on board, for each week of a voyage

COMING INTO FORCE

3. These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.
