Regulations Amending the Members of Committees and Special Committees (NAFTA) Regulations

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister for International Trade and the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 77.018 (see footnote a), subsection 77.023(2) (see footnote b) and paragraphs 77.035(c) (see footnote c) and (d) (see footnote d) of the Special Import Measures Act, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Members of Committees and Special Committees (NAFTA) Regulations.

REGULATIONS AMENDING THE MEMBERS
OF COMMITTEES AND SPECIAL COMMITTEES
(NAFTA) REGULATIONS

AMENDMENTS

1. Section 3 of the Members of Committees and Special Committees (NAFTA) Regulations (see footnote 1) is replaced by the following:

3. For the purposes of paragraph 1 of Annex 1904.13 to Chapter 19 of the North American Free Trade Agreement, the persons listed in the schedule are named to the committee roster as candidates for selection to serve during good behaviour on committees and special committees for a period of five years, commencing on the day on which this section comes into force.

2. The schedule to the Regulations is replaced by the following:
