Order Amending the New Brunswick Hog Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export Trade) Order

Porc NB Pork, formerly the New Brunswick Hog Marketing Board, pursuant to section 4 of the New Brunswick Hog Order (see footnote a), hereby makes the annexed Order Amending the New Brunswick Hog Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export Trade) Order.

ORDER AMENDING THE NEW BRUNSWICK
HOG MARKETING LEVIES (INTERPROVINCIAL
AND EXPORT TRADE) ORDER

AMENDMENTS

1. The definition "Local Board" in section 2 of the New Brunswick Hog Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export Trade) Order (see footnote 1) is replaced by the following:

"Local Board" means Porc NB Pork; (Office)

2. Subsection 3(1) of the Order is replaced by the following:

3. (1) Every producer shall pay to the Local Board or to its agent a levy of $1.53 plus HST per hog marketed outside the province of New Brunswick.

COMING INTO FORCE

3. This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order.)

The Order increases from $1.25 to $1.53 plus HST the levy on producers of hogs in New Brunswick for each hog produced in New Brunswick and marketed in interprovincial and export trade.
