Vol. 140, No. 7 — February 18, 2006
DISMISSAL
Electrical and electronics
Notice is hereby given that the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) issued an order on February 7, 2006, with respect to a complaint (File No. PR-2005-032) filed by L-3 Communications Electronic Systems Inc. (L-3), of Toronto, Ontario, under subsection 30.11(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, R.S.C. 1985 (4th Supp.), c. 47, concerning a procurement (Solicitation No. W8485-05TQ22/A) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) on behalf of the Department of National Defence. The solicitation was for the provision of hardware maintenance and support for air simulators and trainers.
L-3 alleged that PWGSC incorrectly declared its bid late.
Having examined the evidence presented by the parties in the conduct of the inquiry, the Tribunal concluded that the complaint was not filed within the required time limits established by subsection 2(2) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Procurement Inquiry Regulations. Therefore, the Tribunal dismissed the complaint.
Further information may be obtained from the Secretary, Canadian International Trade Tribunal, Standard Life Centre, 15th Floor, 333 Laurier Avenue W, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0G7, (613) 993-3595 (telephone), (613) 990-2439 (fax).
